Emily Katz can braid her hair upside down, make up a song on the spot, catch a fly in her hand, will never refuse an invitation to breakfast, and will bake you the best pie you have ever tasted.




Born in Tucson, Arizona. 1982

Currently lives and loves in Portland, Oregon

Attended Portland Waldorf School, where she owes her creative cultivation.

Attended The Northwest Academy 

Fiber and Printmaking in Florence, Italy at Lorenzo Di Medici.

Attended Maryland Institute, College of Art, with a focus on Printmaking.

2003 began Bonnie Heart Clyde, a freehand embroidered clothing line.

2007 launched eponymous collection of sustainable clothing for women.

Emily Katz is currently traveling the world teaching macrame workshops, learning about energy healing, art directing and styling photo shoots, hosting dinners and events, collaborating on interior design projects and products, and dreaming up the next adventure.
